Click Graphic to Visit DrummerConnection's Blue Man Group Interview Page. Originating from the Tampa, FL area, once Parrulli heard the opening of the Orlando venue at the Universal Studios Resorts and Theme Parks, he knew his life, in some way, had come full circle. Now, Anthony resides in Orlando, FL, and currently fullfils a busy work load as Blue Man Group senior captain, performing for The Jammitors at Disney's Epcot theme park, and persuing his own musical flare with his funked out rock band, The Schmeltz, deemed, "The world's greatest opening band," by themselves of course. You can catch Anthony all over Orlando these days, whether he's bald and blue, banging on trash cans, decked out in rock star sunglasses and a pink feather neck garment singing pop culture parody spoofs or even dawning his family tradition Scottish kilt and performing on the bagpipes. Sometimes in life, success isn't measured by how much you do, but ultimately by how you do it. In Anthony Parrulli's case, it seems things are just getting started and no end is in site. BML would like to thank DrummerConnection.com for allowing BML to be a part of this great opportunity for a great new interview series. We look forward to working a lot more with Drummer Connection in the months to come on future interviews with the talented performers with Blue Man Group and beyond. Special thanks to Blue Man Group Orlando and Universal Studios Orlando for use of their facility during the filming and recording of this interview. Also, a special thanks goes out to Joe Chabus who helped Drummer Connection organize and plan this interview. |

To help raise money for curriculum development, documentation and dissemination of Blue School curriculum, tuition assistance, program enhancement, and facility expansion, the Blue School is hosting an online auction that anyone is welcome to participate in. The online portion of Blue School Gala Auction is now open. The auction will run from April 2, 2009 to April 27, 2009, with the live event taking place on April 2, 2009 at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in NYC. The live event is hosted by Jon Stewart of The Daily Show. From the Blue School's Gala website: "Our country stands at an important educational crossroads. We can either prepare our children to be successful citizens of the 21st century, or fail to do so by falling back on outdated, test-oriented teaching methods that are being discredited around the globe. Blue School has developed a curriculum for preschool and early elementary grades that places creativity and social-emotional learning at the center of an inquiry-based educational experience. Because no one school can serve an unlimited number of children, we are dedicated to developing Blue School as a replicable educational approach. By serving as a laboratory school for curriculum development, Blue School can help schools around the globe improve the education experience of their students."
