The Blue Man Group has pacted with producer Charlotte Huggins ("Journey to the Center of the Earth") to star in their first film. The musical will be made for Imax 3-D with an eye toward a wider release on standard-sized digital 3-D screens. The original Blue Man stage trio of Matt Goldman, Chris Wink and Phil Stanton will star.
Band Spotlight features returning interviewee Tom Shad from the Astor Place Theatre in New York. Tom discusses many aspects of his musical upbringing to his take on technology and podcasting.

MusLtngBlue : It's not slated to begin shooting until sometime in 2009, and post-production work, especially with stuff like I'm sure BMG will be doing, will take a while. I'd say don't expect it until late 2009 at the very earliest, probably 2010
